Graduate School of Public Policy
Degree: Master of Public Policy
English-based Degree Program: N/A
Location: Suzaku Campus
Graduate School of Public Policy was established in April 2007 with the objective of nurturing talent to consider, investigate, decide, and take action toward public problems. We also endeavor to empower the policy-making ability in individuals. We believe that this ability can be fostered by acquiring the basic academic skills of observing, analyzing, and understanding social and human behaviors, by being trained to pursue problems discovered by oneself and then find appropriate solutions, by enhancing the communication skills for expressing opinions and statements in persuasive manners, and by testing and enhancing one’s ambition to face public problems.
Students with a bachelor's degree in various majors are admitted to the Graduate School of Public Policy, and curricula are designed to enable those who are studying law, politics, and economics for the first time to study them in a systematic manner.
