Asia Week 2017

Asia Week 2017, an international exchange festival will be held at Ritsumeikan University Osaka Ibaraki Campus with the campus concept being ‘Gateway to Asia.’

A lot of events including research presentations, concerts, and intercultural experiences await you!

- Talkfest (cross-cultural communication with Asian students)
Time: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (four sessions: Chinese, Korean, Thai and Indonesian)
Venue: Event Hall, 1F, Future Plaza
Up to 40 people, no admission fee. Numbered tickets to be distributed prior to the start of the session.

- International Sports Festival
Time: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Venue: Iwakura Park
No admission fee

- Performances by Ritsumeikan Student Organizations and Neighbors’ Organizations
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Venue: SORA-No Plaza
No admission fee
- Asian Street (Asian restaurants and Asian article shops)
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Venue: In the vicinity of SORA-NO Plaza and Future Plaza

- Interaction with Animals (presented by Wakayama Adventure World)
Time: 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Venue: SORA-NO Plaza South

- Field Hockey School
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Venue: OIC Field
Up to 60 people, no admission fee. Numbered tickets to be distributed beforehand.

- Parent and Child Soccer School (presented by Gamba Osaka)
Time: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Venue: Iwakura Park
Up to 50 people, admission fee required. Numbered tickets to be distributed beforehand.

- Let’s play with LEGO Blocks
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Venue: Event Hall, 1F, Future Plaza
Up to 20 people, admission fee required. Numbered tickets to be distributed prior to the start of the session.
