Ritsumeikan University is committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports students with disabilities through the following three policies:

  • Support students with disabilities to ensure an equal opportunity to receive a quality education
  • Contribute to the learning and development of all students through the provision of support for students with disabilities
  • Aim to enhance the university’s educational competency by bringing awareness to faculty and staff regarding support for students with disabilities.

Harassment Prevention Committee

Ritsumeikan University and Ritsumeikan Affiliated Schools' Harassment Prevention Regulations and Harassment Prevention Guidelines clarify our emphasis on respect for human rights and zero tolerance for harassment in any form perpetrated by Ritsumeikan students or staff.

Ritsumeikan University and Ritsumeikan Affiliated Schools advisers operate under the jurisdiction of the Harassment Prevention Committee to help complainants of harassment. If students are in need of help, they are welcome to contact the Committee for supports and guidance.
