Message to Students

Choosing where to go to university is an important decision. You need to think about what you are interested in, what type of career do you want, what type of future you hope for. As you leave school you will be entering a world that is undergoing considerable change. Globalization is reshaping Japan, Asia and the rest of the world. To be successful in this environment you need a globalized perspective, critical and flexible thinking, as well as cross-cultural communication skills.

These are the types of abilities you can learn through studying at the RU College of Global Liberal Arts. And at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific you will gain greater knowledge and perspective on this pivotal part of the world. What you study at the Australian National University and Ritsumeikan University will provide you with the kind of skills and perspective for future success. This innovative dual degree program between ANU and Ritsumeikan, in which you study in Australia and Japan, will prepare you for a bright and rewarding future.
