CHALLENGE THE WORLD

We have recently been experiencing various rapid social changes due to globalization, scientific evolution, and unexpected natural phenomena such as the worldwide pandemic of COVID-19. I believe that young people should be ready for leading the global and local society towards a positive future. Such leaders are expected to be equipped with a high level of academic literacy as well as a well-developed sense of social contribution, authenticity towards their professional mission, and fundamental respect for individuality.
The mission of Ritsumeikan Primary School is to foster strong “roots” for life-long growth and personal actualization in diverse ways. In order to raise every student to be a global leader in various fields, our curriculum covers a wide range of subjects and experiential learning opportunities beyond the government guideline. We also make the best use of our connections with Ritsumeikan Junior and Senior High School, Ritsumeikan University, and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, which have all been recognized nationally for their advanced practices of global education. To go beyond what we have already achieved, we will further explore various possibilities for pedagogical advancement.
