Industry-Academia-Government Collaborations: Total Support

Roles of the Research Office on Industry-Academia-Government Collaborations

We manage the flow of research projects from setting up to reporting the results of the projects such as Entrusted Research, Joint Research between private sectors and also Public Research Development Projects. At the same time, we will build appropriate organizational structure that can effectively address the needs and issues that may arise.

What is Entrusted Research?

Entrusted Research is a system that undertakes a research activity based on specific research themes by outside institutions such as private sectors, public agencies and other institutions. The Entrusted Research Program is carried out based on contracts between external institutions and our researchers at Ritsumeikan University.

What is Joint Research?

Joint Research is a system that enables collaborative research activities between an external institution and Ritsumeikan University. This project can also host co-researchers from the counterpart institution using our research facilities and equipment.
