High School Baton Twirling Club won the Grand Prize at the Kyoto High School Baton Twirling Contest.

     Ritsumeikan Uji High School Baton Twirling Club won the the Grand Prix at the 47th Kyoto High School Baton Twirling Contest held at the Yamashiro Sports Park Gymnasium on Saturday, June 18. As a result, the team was recommended to participate in the National High School Cultural Festival, 2023 Kagoshima Art Festival, to be held in Kagoshima next year.

     The Ritsumeikan Uji High School Baton Twirling Club attracted many people at the venue with their powerful performance under the theme of "NO WAR - Cries of the ravages of war, wishes for peace.

     The junior high school baton twirling club also performed a performance titled "Rits-Uji Suspense Symphony Orchestra" and thrilled the audience with their innovative music and performance.
