Before joining the GLA Office at Ritsumeikan University in Fall 2021, Noriko Okada taught undergraduate courses at SUNY Purchase College and Suffolk County Community College. She received the Purchase College Community Engagement Fellowship, among other awards, and served the campus community at its Multicultural Center. She has presented academic papers and exhibited artwork in multiple venues in the United States. Noriko has also assisted exhibitions and events at the Japan Society in New York City, the Flecker Gallery at Suffolk County Community College, and the Charles B. Wang Center at SUNY Stony Brook University.
At GLA, Noriko serves as an academic advisor in the Academic Advising Team to help GLA students with their academic planning throughout their academic careers.
