Overseas IT Training and Internships

At the College of Information Science and Engineering (CISE), we offer overseas IT training programs and overseas internship programs for students possessing a certain level of practical English ability. The advantage of these programs provided independently by CISE is that you can acquire not only English proficiency but also IT expertise and ability. By utilizing networks through our university’s agreements with overseas institutions, CISE offers students opportunities to develop the skills required for global human resources in the IT field, such as a high level of practical English language ability and intercultural adaptation.

Pune, India Overseas IT Training Program

Program introduction

This is an intensive IT education program at Symbiosis International University in Pune, India. In this program, in addition to acquiring higher level English operation ability and cross-cultural adaptation ability, students learn professional and practical IT knowledge/skills in India, an IT developed country where students can experience the IT industry innovating worldwide. The teacher is a faculty member from Symbiosis International University. By systematically learning knowledge and technology on object-oriented technology in such an environment, students deepen their expertise on the core technology of IT and acquire skills that can be utilized in practice.
Furthermore, by actually visiting IT companies, students can feel the front lines of software development sites around the world.

Pune, India Overseas Internship

Program introduction

In the “Overseas Internship Program” (Agreement Type A) at the College of Information Science and Engineering/Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, a five-week vocational experience in Los Angeles (United States), Dalian (China), or Pune (India) is taken place during the summer break, toward the goal of developing global human resources. By undertaking an internship in a real society, students will develop fundamental skills such as communication and teamwork skills, as well as deepening intercultural understanding. They will also further enhance their expertise by actively utilizing specialized IT knowledge at Japanese and local IT corporations.
In India, students will engage in information system development, software product development, mobile application development, system tests and quality control tasks at a local IT corporation. Besides, they will also have many opportunities to observe Indian culture including World Heritage Listed historic ruins with a local student buddy.

Los Angeles, United States Overseas Internship

Program introduction

In the “Overseas Internship Program” (Agreement Type A) at the College of Information Science and Engineering/Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering, a five-week vocational experience in Los Angeles (United States), Dalian (China), or Pune (India) is taken place during the summer break, toward the goal of developing global human resources. By undertaking an internship in a real society, students will develop fundamental skills such as communication and teamwork skills, as well as deepening intercultural understanding. They will also further enhance their expertise by actively utilizing specialized IT knowledge at Japanese and local IT corporations.
Students who participate in the Los Angeles program will be involved in mobile application development, marketing research through SNS, and website management at a local corporation. Besides, there are also opportunities to meet Japanese people working in the United States, so students will be able to have a clear image of living abroad.
