One department with seven courses
In addition to six Japanese-based courses designed for deep specialization in fields aligned with current societal demands, we also offer an English-based course. This course is aimed at equipping students with the ability to apply interdisciplinary knowledge for problem-solving in a global context. Our goal is to develop talents capable of addressing the evolving social challenges within the information sector.

Information Systems Science and Engineering Course(ISSE)
The program fosters individuals who are proficient in the field of information engineering and who are able to work globally as part of a team in a diverse community. All classes are conducted in English, and the main feature of the program is problem-based learning, in which students discover and solve problems on their own.

System Architect Course
Aiming to become "Architects" who can build information systems that no one has ever built before, students will learn all aspects of information system technology, from basic hardware and software technology to big data analysis and IoT, and acquire practical skills for system development and operation.

Security and Networks Course
In today's society, where the real world and the virtual world are highly integrated, the importance of the information infrastructure that serves as the cornerstone of such a society is increasing every day. In this course, students will acquire knowledge of security, software, and networks that make up the information infrastructure, as well as technologies for building safe and secure information systems.

Social System Design Course
Students will learn the technology required for analyzing and modeling vast amounts of data, as well as for designing and implementing specific social systems and services. They will also learn techniques for facilitating advanced interactions between people and information technology systems. The course aims to equip students with the practical skills necessary to create and realize future societies and systems where humans and ICT coexist.

Physical Computing Course
Students will study human interfaces that connect humans to the outside world through ICT, virtual reality and mixed reality technologies that enable the experience of highly realistic virtual worlds, IoT that connects objects around us to networks, and robot technologies that realize the intelligence of mechanical systems.

Media Technology Course
Students can learn information processing methods that utilize diverse media data such as images and sounds. Specifically, students will have the opportunity to engage in research utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies in fields including computer graphics, information visualization, VR/AR, image processing and recognition, speech recognition and synthesis, acoustic information processing, and signal processing.

Artificial and Natural Intelligence Course
Students systematically learn comprehensive knowledge and technologies to analyze measurement data of natural and social phenomena, as well as to operate mathematical models, simulations, and AI. Students will also acquire the ability to engineer intelligent information systems through the acquisition and extraction of real data such as biological information.
