Ms. Anukul Preeyanuch (D2) received "ADMD 2017 Presentation Award” for her presentation by the title, “Photoluminescence Behavior of Rod-Shaped Gold(I) Complexes in Chiral Nematic Liquid Crystal” given at the 21st International Symposium on Advanced Display Materials & Devices (ADMD 2017) held from July 24 to 26, 2017 at the University of Nagoya.
Ritsumeikan University is one of the best universities in Japan. I am really glad to be a member of the Laboratory of Polymer Materials Chemistry at Ritsumeikan University. My knowledge and skills have been rapidly improved by Ritsumeikan's learning system. At present , my research focuses on the synthesis of new liquid−crystalline gold complexes, which includes the investigation of liquid-crystalline behavior and photoluminescence properties in order to elucidate intriguing photoluminescence mechanisms. Through my research, I am also working to discover ways to apply these gold complexes to functional materials such as sensors and luminescence devices.
It was a great opportunity for me to attend the 21st International Symposium on Advanced Display Materials & Devices (ADMD2017) at Nagoya University. I received the poster presentation award for my topic on “Photoluminescence Behavior of Rod-Shaped Gold(I) Complexes in Chiral Nematic Liquid Crystal”. I am glad to have helped create a good reputation for my laboratory and our university. I am also very grateful to my professor and other lab members who continuously supported me along the way.
Congratulations!
