【Guest Information】GSLS Invited Professors and Students from Taiwan-1
Professors and students from three universities in Taiwan were participating in our new invitation program from March 4 to March 8, 2024.

The program aimed to strengthen relationships with universities in Taiwan and foster student exchanges and collaborative research among laboratories. We prepared numerous programs such as Laboratory Tour and Professor's meetings to highlight the attractions of GSLS and Japan, with the goal of generating interest among participants to study in Japan.
1. Japanese language lesson
A Japanese teacher and 3 Japanese students from GSLS hosted a Japanese conversation class for Taiwanese students, featuring activities such as "Introducing Yourself in Japanese," "Describing Snacks Using Japanese Adjectives," and "Japanese Adjective Bingo Game." The participants thoroughly enjoyed themselves and had engaging conversations with the Japanese students.
2. Meetings to discuss future online symposiums and potential research collaborations
Each professor from Taiwan visited laboratories at GSLS to explore potential research collaborations. Additionally, we held a meeting to discuss plans for future online symposiums.
Prof. Koshiyama, Prof. Kobayashi, Prof. Kuwata, and Prof. Takeda from GSLS participated the meeting with prof. Chih-Hsin Chen and prof.Wei-Min Lie.
