Hokkaido Science Exploration(Day 1) WOW Program
During spring break, the middle school organized the Hokkaido Science Exploration WOW Program. We departed from Itami Airport and landed at New Chitose Airport. At New Chitose Airport, everyone enjoyed Hokkaido's gourmet food.
At Ritsumeikan Keisho Junior and Senior High School in Ebetsu City, we experienced Mr. Watanabe's science show. "It's because there's no entrance exam that we cultivate a spirit of inquiry," he said. "Instead of waiting for someone else to move, it's about questioning, hypothesizing, and verifying on our own." "From Ritsumeikan Uji to the world." These passionate messages resonated with many, igniting their enthusiasm.
From there, we moved to Asahikawa City. For dinner, we relished Hokkaido gourmet dishes made from local ingredients such as ramen salad, zangi (deep-fried chicken), grilled salmon, and Genghis Khan, which cannot be tasted in Kansai.
With a pleasant chill in the air and snow still covering the ground, we concluded our first day in Hokkaido, enjoying the northern land.
We have plans to experience numerous science programs on the second and third days as well.
