26 April was a school-wide field day, where classes and year groups tackled various attractions outside the school and deepened their friendships.The first year 43 students on the IB course enjoyed athletics and a barbecue at Ikoma Yama Foothill Park.

Ikoma Sanroku Park's athletics course is quite hard, with 30 points in the mountain, and it took about an hour for everyone to complete, although some of the stronger students managed to complete a lap in 25 minutes. They returned to the finish line sweating and huffing and puffing.

For the barbecue, we lit the coals on the stove and had lots of meat and vegetables. Some of the cohorts enjoyed the after-dinner staple of roasted marshmallows and had a healthy day out. It was a great bonding experience for the cohort, who overcame hard studying.
