Japanese Language Support
Japanese Language Class offered by Graduate School of Life Sciences
The purpose of this program is to improve students’ Japanese skills. You can learn daily Japanese conversation and basic Japanese characters. For those who wish to find a job in Japan, we offer classes for JLPT(Japanese-Language Proficiency Test).
Placement test will be conducted before class.
Also, we will discuss about students’ purpose, level and future career and set the goal together.
Then we will arrange some classes to suit your level out of the following classes.
Class
Conversation class is the perfect introduction for anyone who start learning Japanese language.
The goals for this class are:
*Acquire Japanese skills to use in the daily life (transportation, shopping, order meals, etc.)
The Beginner class is for students who have a little knowledge of Japanese.
The goals for this class are:
*Acquire skills to read, write and understand typical expressions and sentences written in hiragana, katakana, and basic kanji.
*Target: JLPT N5
The goals for this class are:
*Acquire Japanese skills to express your opinion and feelings and explain happenings in the daily life
*Acquire Japanese skills to read and understand passages on familiar daily topics written in basic vocabulary and kanji.
*Target: JLPT N4
The Intermediate Class is for students who are interested in job-hunting.
The goals for this class are:
*Acquire Japanese skills to listen and comprehend coherent conversations in everyday situations, spoken at near-natural speed.
*Acquire Japanese skills to grasp summary information such as newspaper headlines.
*Target: JLPT N3
Eligibility
English-based students in Graduate School of Life Sciences
Fees/Credit
There is no tuition fee for taking part in this non-credit program.
