In digital health/bio laboratory, we are conducting data science and AI research to solve problems in the fields of health and medicine, such as the realization of personalized medicine in the selection of optimal treatments and drugs based on the genetic information and lifestyle habits of individual patients, early diagnosis and prevention of diseases like disease risk prediction and biomarker discovery, and the development of health promotion and lifestyle disease prevention programs based on healthcare data. We are also developing data science and AI technologies in the fields of synthetic/systems biology and biotechnology based on genome and metabolic science. To this end, we are utilizing medical data, genome data, biometric data, and research paper and literature data, including through collaboration both inside and outside the university, and are promoting the application and development of cutting-edge AI technologies, including the use of generative AI.
