Research on Organic Reaction Design Based on Molecular Properties for the Efficient Synthesis of Valuable Compounds
Our laboratory focuses on developing new organic reactions and molecular transformations by studying the diverse properties of organic compounds. Specifically, we aim to develop environmentally conscious and efficient synthetic methods by precisely controlling reagent reactivity and selectivity. The molecules accessible through these methods often exhibit structural complexity and a wide range of characteristics, making them applicable to fields such as pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, and materials science. We accumulate knowledge on factors such as reaction selectivity and the influence of conditions on product outcomes to refine and expand our strategies for rational and flexible reaction design. Through these efforts, we hope to contribute to future applications in drug discovery, the life sciences, and advanced materials.
