How to Apply: Ritsumeikan University Financial Aid for Intercultural Exchange
Application forms for AY2024 Spring Semester application window are now online!
The Ritsumeikan University Financial Aid for Intercultural Exchange offers funding to both individual RU students and student groups for student-organized activities, events and projects focused on intercultural exchange (exchange between peoples of different backgrounds and cultures). To get an idea of this entails check out the past events above. The application for AY2024 Spring Semester will be held as follows.

AY2024 Spring Semester Application Period: Wed, April 17 to 17:00 on Wed, April 24, 2024 (Japan Time)

All related inquiries should be sent to ruibunka@st.ritsumei.ac.jp. For inquiries set the subject of your email as “Question about Financial Aid for Cultural Exchange” and clearly state your name and student ID number at the start of your email.

First, please carefully read 2) Handbook for Applying for Financial Aid and 3) Regulations. Next, please fill in the 1) Application Form. After that, please upload the Form at the URL below.

-Consultation
Any student considering applying who has lingering questions after reading through the materials and watching the video, is strongly encouraged to inquire in advance. Consultation is possible during the following window, following the instructions below.
Consultation window: Mon, April 8 - Tue, April 23, 2024 (Japan Time)
Place: Zoom. Send an email to the address above and provide three timeframes during which you would be available to discuss your questions. The email should be sent by 16:00 on the day prior to your earliest stated availability. The office will choose a time that works and send you a zoom link.
*Consultation is only possible during the International Center's open hours. When classes are in session the International Center is open from 10:00 - 11:30 and from 12:30 - 17:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 12:30 - 17:00 on Thursdays.
