We at the Ritsumeikan Academy are deeply saddened by the news of the extensive damage caused by the 2025 Myanmar Earthquake.

I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victims and their families and extend my sympathies to everyone affected by the disaster as well as their families and those around them.

Ritsumeikan, based on its educational philosophy of "Peace and Democracy," will provide appropriate support as an education and research institution, and we will work toward the recovery and reconstruction of the disaster-stricken area.
