Academic Writing Skills I is one of the very first classes many CRPS students take to practice writing academically in English.

Students practice writing a strong five-paragraph essay, including how to create a strong topic and effective concluding sentences, and how to write supporting sentences with specific examples. You will also have group work and peer review to maximize your learning opportunities and become an autonomous learner. Academic Writing Skills I helps you become more confident in your writing in future CRPS courses.
