Cities are places where large amounts of energy and resources are consumed. It is essential to use environmentally friendly products and used products must be properly recycled. However, for example, is an electric vehicle truly good for the environment? Is paper recycling really as environmentally beneficial?
To answer such questions, we need to scientifically assess their environmental impacts. Without scientific evidence, it is impossible to develop environmental policies, such as providing subsidies.
This course introduces the fundamental methods and techniques for evaluating the environmental impacts of products and human activities. In this course, you will not only learn the methods but also apply them through hands-on exercises based on case studies.
