Ritsumeikan University's RItsumeikan Semiconductor Application research center (RISA) exhibited at SEMICON Japan 2024 held at Tokyo Big Sight from December 11 (Wed.) to 13 (Fri.), 2024, in the “SEMI IS MORE Path” in the General Zone.

In addition, at the “SEMICON Japan Academia Award” held on December 11, the Kaneko Laboratory, led by the center's director, Professor Kentaro Kaneko/RARARA Fellow, was the first at Ritsumeikan University to receive the Award for Excellence.

On December 12, Director Kaneko and Deputy Director Araki met with SEMI Japan Representative Masahiko Hamashima and other members of the administrative office to exchange views on the possibility of strengthening future collaboration and joint research.

The center will continue to promote cutting-edge research related to the field of semiconductors through cooperation with related organizations and companies in Japan and abroad.
