RISA's Practical Course Featured in Electronic Device Industry News (July 31, 2025 Edition)

Ritsumeikan Semiconductor Application Research Center (RISA)'s practical course initiative of Shiga Prefecture's “Reskilling Bridge Creation Project,” launching this fall, was featured in the July 31, 2025 edition of Electronic Device Industry News.
This course aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Shiga Prefecture in entering advanced industries, including semiconductors, and developing new application fields. It will be conducted in collaboration with a basic course run by Sangyo Times Co., Ltd., with RISA responsible for the practical training.
The article introduced the background and objectives of the course, the research facilities to be utilized, and the knowledge participants will gain, through an interview with RISA Director Kenntaro Kaneko.
The course is scheduled to run for six months starting October 2025, comprising eight sessions in total. The venue is Ritsumeikan University's Biwako-Kusatsu Campus. Details and enrollment methods will be announced separately at a later date.
