About the Kyoto Museum for World Peace, Ritsumeikan University
Kyoto Museum for World Peace Museum, Ritsumeikan University opened in 1992 and has served as a place to learn about the importance of peace and democracy. A renovation in 2023 completely revamped the museum's exhibits and facilities, ensuring new discoveries with every visit. The "PEACE×PIECE" exhibit showcases documents, photographs, personal words, and more as "Pieces of Peace." It is designed to encourage visitors to discover their own connections while gaining insight into peace. The exhibits are comprised of a chronological exhibit, a themed exhibit, and a “Peace Dialogue Agora," allowing visitors to share their thoughts with each other. Now, see, feel, think, and take the first step toward peace.
