High school students food drive with the help of a local supermarket

A collaborative project between our school students, who are working on a project about food issues in their third-year high school class "Core III," and a local supermarket "Friend Mart" has been realized.
From September 1 to October 31, a food drive organized by our students is being held at a Friend Mart store. A food drive is an activity in which unused food items left over at home are collected and donated to facilities in need. During this period, collection boxes for collecting unused food items will be placed at Friend Mart. The collected food will be donated to orphanages, children's cafeterias, young caregivers, single-mother families, single-father families, and so on.
Students stand on the sales floor on an irregular basis and hand out flyers explaining the food drive and asking for cooperation. Some of them have purchased products from Friend Mart and donated them to the food drive. The food drive will run until the end of October. Please take this opportunity to visit Friend Mart.
