Online exchange meeting with Tangshan Foreign Language School in China
Third-year students taking Chinese language courses participated in an online exchange program with high school students from the Japanese language course at Tangshan Foreign Language School in Hebei Province, China. In this exchange program, 31 students from Japan and China each participate in pairs and work together to deepen their understanding of the other over a total of five sessions. At the first of these exchanges, held on Thursday, September 29, the students were divided into breakout rooms and introduced themselves in the language they were studying in small groups. In addition, Mr. Kazufumi Kawanoue, a Japanese entrepreneur who is active in China, joined us as a facilitator and gave us a keynote speech. From now until January, we plan to hold a social gathering once a month.
