CAS EE Awards Ceremony

Last Friday the IB Course held the annual CAS EE awards ceremony on campus. CAS stands for Creativity, Activity, and Service, a series of extra-curricular activities students choose on their own in various areas. EE stands for Extended Essay, an extensive senior thesis on a subject of student choosing.
For the awards ceremony, teachers chose outstanding students in both CAS and EE to receive a formal award. Awarded students' extended essay titles and topics were read aloud and the school principal presented the awards. For the CAS awardees, students' CAS portfolios were read aloud and once again the school principal did the honors.
The ceremony was attended by teachers and all the students of the IB Course, and underlined the importance of both CAS and the EE.
