High School Student's Idea Becomes Cafeteria Menu
Students in the third-year high school elective class "Food Design" have begun planning and selling a lunch in collaboration with the Co-op Cafeteria.
The students learned about the origins of the Co-op, and based on what they have learned, they have created a lunch that is nutritionally balanced. In addition, based on the students' proposal, 10 yen per meal will be donated to the Kyoto Food Bank this year as well.
The students presented four ideas to the Co-op, which were brushed up, and the final two ideas passed the proposal test and were tasted before being put on the market.
The first proposal is a "Bean-curd soup bowl with hot spicy bean curd" medium size for 500 yen (10/24-10/28). S and L sizes are also available.
We would like to thank the people at the Co-op cafeteria for all their help. Despite their busy schedules, they cooperated with us in hopes of contributing to the students' learning. Thank you!
