University of Melbourne, Australia Admissions Information Session
After school on Wednesday, November 30, the University of Melbourne held an admissions information session. The University of Melbourne has a 170-year history and is located on a large site adjacent to the City of Melbourne. It is a high-level university, rated No. 1 in Australia and No. 34 in the world, and has produced nine Nobel Prize winners. We were able to invite a person in admissions to speak directly with them.
The university has over 60,000 students, from 135 countries, 42% of whom are international students, and 150 of whom are from Japan. Several graduates from Ritsumeikan Uji have already entered the university. After the briefing session, several students who were considering going to Australia formed a circle and enthusiastically asked individual questions, such as "What kind of research can I do?" and "What grades are required for the scholarship?
