Junior High 2nd grade; Walking Tour of Kyoto
On Friday, April 28, junior high school second graders went on a walking tour of Kyoto.
Each class assembled at a different World Heritage Site in Kyoto City and started exploring. From the point of view of foreign travelers, I don't think there is a more enviable plan. I was a little worried that we would not be able to meet at the 9:00 a.m. meeting time, but I think it was wonderful that most of the students were able to gather.
It was a little cold in the morning, but during the day it was sunny enough to not need a jacket, and the students took many pictures in front of the beautiful World Heritage site.
The students were able to learn about some of the issues that came to light during the school year, and they were able to make very good progress toward next year's study tour to Australia.
