IG Course: Class of Exploration "Food Design" Lecture by Ms. Konomi Hagata of Chez Agata
Ms. Konomi Hagata, pastry chef at the famous Chez Agata in Uji, gave a lecture titled "Local production for local consumption - Uji tea sweets loved by the local people.
The first store in Uji to sell "matcha terrine" in Japan, this famous store is committed to using only the finest ingredients and creating delicious sweets that will delight customers.
I was deeply impressed by her story of how she overcame many difficulties and failures with a strong spirit of never giving up, and never blaming everything on her surroundings or the times.
I want you to believe in your own potential. I want you to believe in your own potential. It would be a waste to give up easily on anything. I want you to cherish your own life." Many students were moved by this heartfelt message.
She prepared matcha terrine, creative desserts using hojicha and chestnuts, and even handmade cookies, making the class a truly satisfying experience for both mind and taste buds.
