IBcourse: CAS Hike (Konze Alps in Shiga)
ib
On Saturday June 24th, 16 IB 1 students joined the challenging hike up "Tengu-iwa" in the Konze Alps in Shiga. This is a busy time for IB 1 students--with many assignments due as we approach the end of term--so it was great to see so many students prioritize "balance" and join this optional hike. The hike was certainly an adventure for students, with lots of wet trails and steep climbs. However, students were all-smiles upon reaching the top and seeing the spectacular views of unique rock formations and Lake Biwa in the distance. Great job on this hike IB 1 students!
