On Sunday, September 17, 2023, the "40th Kyoto Prefectural High School Baton Twirling Festival and the 31st Baton Twirling Kyoto Prefecture Tournament" was held at the Yamashiro Sports Park Gymnasium, and the junior and senior high school baton twirling teams participated.

This was the first time for the junior high school students to perform as a team, and they thrilled the audience with their magnificent performance and their no-drop performance, not dropping their batons even once. The high school team also received high marks for their performance, which showed great energy and expressiveness.

As a result, both the junior and senior high school teams received gold medals. Both the junior and senior high school teams won tickets to participate in the Kansai Tournament.
