On Tuesday, September 26, first-year IB course students visited a traditional industry workshop in Kyoto for hands-on experience and interviews.

This initiative is being conducted with the cooperation of the Kyoto Museum of Traditional Industries.

The students listened directly to the stories and experienced the work,

They learned about the high level and depth of the technology and the various processes involved. They also learned how environmentally friendly it is and felt how advanced it is.

The students will think about how to realize sustainable traditional industries, and will hold a poster session and exhibition.
