Brass Band, Cheerleaders, and Baton Twirling Performance at Kyoto Station
On October 1, our baton twirling, brass band, and cheerleading clubs performed at the 15th Forum "Challenging Private Schools" held at Muromachi Koji Plaza in the Kyoto Station Building.
The junior high school baton twirling club wowed the audience with their baton performance for the stage; it was the first performance for the first-year students who started baton twirling in June, but they all danced with smiles and dignity. As is typical of the global Rits-Uji, they introduced their activities in English, Chinese, and Japanese, and received a lot of applause from the tourists.
The cheerleading club and brass band performed Greater Ritsumei and Peace Signs in a collaborative performance. The brass band also performed a medley from Disneyland's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
