IB Course CAS Presentation

On October 6, third-year IB course students gave a presentation on CAS in the Assembly Hall and Community Lounge, attended by first- and second-year IB course students, faculty, staff and parents. CAS stands for Creativity, Activity, Service, and is a core activity of the IBDP. In addition to academic learning, the IBP encourages personal growth by having each individual engage in and reflect on a variety of activities in the community. In this presentation, all third-year students introduced the activities they have engaged in over the past two years, reflecting on their feelings and growth and providing a message to younger students.

During the presentations, the students introduced a variety of activities they have been involved in over the past two years, including photography, cooking, music, dance, running, cycling, and programming; club activities such as badminton, baseball, broadcasting, and flower arrangement; participation in events such as Model UN and business plan competitions; and running original activities. In addition to running original IB course projects such as TEDx and the IB Shop, the students introduced a variety of other activities, including internships at children's cafeterias and hospitals, nursing care support, bird conservation, forest conservation, gardening, and other volunteer activities in the local community. The common message to junior members was to take a positive view of CAS and enjoy it. They also said that these activities will help them meet new people and broaden their world.

This presentation was a great opportunity to see the growth of the third-year students of the IB course.
