Japanese dance/Japanese drum recital (1st grade)
On Tuesday, October 31, the 3rd and 4th classes of the 1st grade gave a presentation on taiko and Japanese dance.
The Japanese dance was performed by Seiju Fujikage, the third generation head of the Fujikage School, who was also awarded a prize by the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs, and the taiko was performed by the taiko circle "Uzu," which performs mainly at community centers in Uji City, for 12 hours over six sessions.
The students were able to show the results of their practice to their parents and fellow students of their grade.
