[WOW] If a dog comes to school

On Saturday, February 17, we held the Junior High School WOW Program "If a Dog Came to School".
This program was designed to "If there were dogs at school, everyday life would be more fun!"  Hitomi Sasaki, a second-year junior high school student, planned this program to "let people know that dogs have a different role from pets."
With the cooperation of Osaka Eco Animal & Marine College, six students studying dog training facilitated the program.

They asked the participants, "What is the role of a school dog?" After a detailed explanation of the role of a school dog and how to properly communicate with a dog, the students played a mini game in which they pretended to be a dog, and spent free time with two dogs in a tent. The participating students all said, "That was fun! I want to come back! and they all left saying, "That was so much fun! "

[From a participant's comment]
"I am glad that the dog helped me relax so much. I hope that school dogs will spread in Japan."
"I was so relaxed that I could sleep with the dog! I hope you will come again. Please welcome dogs in School too..."
"Unlike the dog I have, this dog was very quiet and smart. I would like to teach my dog what I learned today."
"I learned a lot about dogs, and I was able to interact with them, which made me like dogs even more! I want to cherish my relationship with dogs."
"I want to cherish my relationship with dogs! I had a lot of fun!"
