The high school American football team has started activities with a new team. This year, Ren Kitagawa, a third-year IB course student, #49, will serve as captain.

In the first round of the Kansai Tournament Kyoto Prefectural Qualifiers held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, the Ritsumeikan Uji High School Panthers played against the Ryukoku Daigaku Heian High School White Elephants. Wataru Enrique Kohatsu, #10, scored a touchdown as a receiver and also excelled as a kicker. They won by a cold victory with a score of 43-0 in the third quarter.
