JH 2nd students went on a field trip to explore Kyoto
On Friday, April 26th, the second-year junior high students went on a field trip to explore Kyoto. They divided into groups at three locations, with two classes each, and visited several out of a total of fourteen spots before heading to Ritsumeikan University's Kinugasa Campus and the Ritsumeikan International Peace Museum. The students conducted interviews and surveys with tourists and created a guidebook. Although not all groups were able to follow the pre-study plans, they enjoyed the favorable weather and had a fulfilling experience. This field trip served as a good opportunity to develop planning skills, execution ability, and independence in preparation for the study trip to Australia a year later.
