Full Throttle at the Sports Festival.

On May 14, 2024, our school hosted its annual high school sports festival. Blessed with fine weather, the event concluded successfully without any major injuries or cases of heatstroke. Numerous parents also attended, watching the competitions unfold.

The opening ceremony featured a splendid joint performance by the calligraphy club, baton twirling team, cheerleaders, and dance club. Students took the lead in managing the events, which included tug-of-war, large ball carrying, back-carry relay, and figure-eight rope jumping among the grade-specific competitions, as well as all-grade elective events such as rope pulling, ball dropping, and 'Eye of the Storm' themed games. The students thrived, showing vibrant sides of themselves rarely seen in the classroom. The Red team ultimately won the overall points competition. During the cheer battle, teams in red, blue, yellow, green, and purple all performed impressively, with the Yellow team emerging victorious.

The closing ceremony was particularly emotional, featuring heartfelt thanks from the five cheer captains to their teams, bringing some students to tears. The event concluded with the school president, Ritsu Wakasa, exclaiming, 'Rits-Uji, you're the best!' sealing a memorable sports festival.
