May 26, 2024 (Sunday) - The 10th Kinki Junior High School Tennis Championship and the 51st National Junior High School Tennis Championship (Individual) Kyoto Prefecture Qualifiers were grandly held at our school's tennis courts. From our girls' tennis team, four pairs competed in the doubles category, with the pair of Kato and Sakagami reaching the top four, and the Okamoto-Matsumura pair securing second place.

Notably, the performance of Okamoto and Matsumura has earned them the opportunity to compete in the upcoming 10th Kinki Junior High School Tennis Championship, which will be held on June 29 (Saturday) and 30 (Sunday) at Taiyo-no-Oka. This marks a significant return for our girls' tennis team to the Kinki regional tournament after a long absence.
