HS American football team won the Kyoto Prefecture Championship and advanced to the national tournament.
On Sunday, October 6, 2024, the final of the 55th National High School American Football Championship Kyoto Prefecture Qualifier was held. Ritsumeikan Uji High School Panthers faced Kyoto Ryoyo High School, winning 42-0 in a cold game called during the third quarter due to the game rules. As a result, the Panthers have secured their spot in the national tournament as the representative from Kyoto.
