[WOW] Let’s Build the Nation’s Budget Together!
On May 30, we held a civic education program organized by Mirakoe, a student-led organization founded by one of our alumni.
The program took the form of a game-based workshop, allowing students to experience how a national budget is created while learning about the structure of public finance, current societal issues, and possible future challenges.
Students from Grades 1 to 3 participated, and it was especially encouraging to see the 3rd-year students take leadership roles—guiding group activities and supporting the flow of the game while helping the younger students.
Feedback from students included comments like:
-
“It was fun!”
-
“Finance is hard to understand, but now I see how important it is.”
-
“I learned what’s necessary to build the society of the future.”
The session provided a highly valuable learning opportunity for all participants.
