SA student wins second prize at the International Harp Competition
Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High Schools are home to students who excel in the fields of sports, performing arts, and the arts. In particular, students who specialize in activities outside of school are designated as SA "Scholar Athletes" or "Scholar Artists," and are supported in balancing their studies throughout their six years of junior and senior high school. Their remarkable achievements and accomplishments have no small impact on other students.
A second-year high school SA student (harp), Yuki Denpo, participated in the 8th International Harp Competition Felix Godefroid held in Belgium from April 7 to 10, and won second prize in the Excellence She won the 2nd prize in the Excellence category.

It was my first international competition abroad, and I am happy to have achieved a good result. I faced many problems and difficulties in preparation for the competition, but it was a very good experience," Yuki said.
She will be performing in the Focus on Youth section of the World Harp Congress in Wales, England during the summer vacation, and she is practicing hard every day to achieve her new goal.
