Enjoy! WOW Program Spanish Course
A total of four Spanish classes were held in June, with about 15 junior high and high school students participating. The first two sessions were simple Spanish lessons, and in the third session, two Spanish students from Ritsumeikan University, Sergio and Nacho, visited the school and gave a presentation in Japanese and Spanish about a festival in their city. On the fourth and final day, which was a Saturday, we went sightseeing in Uji with the students.
Students explained about "Byodoin", "Uji River", "Matcha", etc. in Spanish. It was difficult to learn to speak Spanish in four lessons, but we enjoyed communicating with them using English and Japanese, and it was a meaningful time.
