High School Students in Noh and Kyogen, Traditional Japanese Culture
Introducing our high school students who carry on the traditional Japanese performing arts.
On April 17, the "7th Seishun Noh Performance in Memory of Asagi Shirai" was held at the Toseian Noh Stage. AOKI Mayuto, a 3rd year high school student, played the shite (leading role) "Butterfly Fairy" in the Noh play "Kocho (Butterfly)".
Also on the same stage, third-year SHIGEYAMA Toramasa performed "Kyogen".
On May 15, "Seiohkai" was held at the Toseian Noh Stage, and AOKI Mayuto performed the shimai "Kuruma-zō".
