【Grade9】Final Sprint to Kofu Festival! A Collective Artistic Performance by All 9th Graders
Taking the Stage with an Original Script
Our 9th-grade students are taking on the challenge of performing a play in which every student appears on stage.
Under the continuous guidance of a drama instructor, they have been practicing for a completely original script developed by the instructors.
They have been practicing their lines and movements, and refining their acting and expressive abilities to a professional level.
Everyone's Efforts Behind the Scenes
In addition to acting, students are also dedicating themselves to behind-the-scenes roles such as sound, lighting, set construction, and costumes. Props and costumes are being created using time during summer break and after school, and creative touches are being added to the stage design as well.
Strengthening Class Bonds Before the Performance
Since the script was completed in June, students have been rehearsing in the multipurpose room and the main hall. Now, with just one week left before the big day, they are entering the final stretch, training with passion in hopes of moving the audience.
Creating a Banner Together as a Grade
Work is also underway to complete a large banner that features the grade’s slogan. Planning and painting have been led by the grade-level executive committee, cultural committee, and volunteers, and ultimately, all 178 students will contribute to its completion. The final banner will be displayed on the second floor of Building A.
