National Junior High School Tennis Championships - Boys Doubles 3rd Place! Best 8 in team!

      The 49th National Junior High School Tennis Championships were held at the Shimizu Zenzo Memorial Tennis Courts in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, from Thursday, August 18 to Sunday, August 21.

On the 18th and 19th, team competitions were held, and the students won two matches to reach the top 8. Although they lost a close match in the quarterfinals, they fought through as a team.

Registered members for the team were: Takishita, Inoue, Arai, Sakamoto, Yoshikura, Nakamura, Hizume, Nai, Dogan, and Seto.    

     On the 20th and 21st, individual competitions were held, and the Takishita/Nai pair from our school participated, winning two matches and placing 3rd! The pair fought bravely against strong opponents from all over the country, and achieved a great result.

Quarterfinal vs Okayama University JHS (Okayama) 1-3 (one match was terminated)
