Music festival organized by high school students Nara x Music
On Sunday, September 11, our high school seniors held a music festival at "Kofufun," a plaza in front of Tenri Station in Nara Prefecture. The festival was held as part of the students' project to revitalize the local community through music. The project started with the students' desire to "create such a place for high school students to have fun in Corona, which is decreasing," and to "connect music to the revitalization of the local community. The project was full of worries, such as choosing a location, negotiating, procuring equipment, talking to bands, managing money, devising ways to attract customers, and carrying out their roles on the day of the event, but the high school students overcame these worries and made the event a success.
Here are some comments from students.
" I had a lot of hardships and wanted to give up many times, but each time I was saved by the kindness of many people, I managed to persevere and am glad that we were able to make it a great success. Now I am filled with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude. Thank you very much! "
